Job summary

Combine AB is seeking a mid- to senior-level System & Software Engineer to join a hybrid team working at the intersection of systems, function, and implementation. You will handle system design, requirements decomposition, and software integration while collaborating with colleagues to solve complex problems.

You will work on modelling, simulation, control, and code generation, moving from problem formulation to validation.

Qualifications

• Experience working as a Systems Engineer, Software Engineer, or in a similar hybrid role.
• Strong knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink and model-based development.
• Experience with embedded software development.
• Experience with requirements engineering.

Responsibilities

• Work on technical problems where mathematics, programming, and physics meet, including modelling, simulation, control systems, optimisation, and code generation.
• Participate in problem formulation, mathematical modelling, algorithm development, and implementation/validation.
• Contribute across the design → implementation chain, sometimes diving deeper into a specific part.
• Collaborate with customers on projects across industries such as automotive, civil engineering, defence and medtech.
