Job summary

Swedium Global in Stockholm is seeking a System Reliability Engineer to support a leading banking client in a hybrid role. The position focuses on reliability, security, and scalable infrastructure.

You will work with Validio onboarding, on-premise setups via SebShift, and cloud-native tooling across Azure/AWS/GCP, contributing to critical infrastructure transformation.

3 days onsite per week, with 2 days remote, in collaboration with data and technology teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in SRE, DevOps, or cloud engineer roles.
• Experience with on-premise and cloud environments.
• Proficient in Linux/Windows, IaC, and scripting.
• Strong cybersecurity awareness and identity management.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and onboarding of Validio within the bank’s internal systems.
• Collaborate with data management and technology teams to ensure reliable and scalable system operations.
• Assist in design, setup, and configuration of on-premise environments hosted via SebShift (Kubernetes-based platform).
• Establish best practices and operational guidelines aligned with IT security standards.
• Contribute to system monitoring, reliability, and performance optimisation initiatives.
• Provide technical expertise in infrastructure, automation, and cloud-native technologies.

Seeking a highly skilled System Reliability Engineer to support a leading banking client in Stockholm.(Hybrid – 3 days onsite / 2 days remote)

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and onboarding of Validio within the bank’s internal systems
• Collaborate with data management and technology teams to ensure reliable and scalable system operations
• Assist in the design, setup, and configuration of on-premise environments hosted via SebShift (Kubernetes-based platform)
• Establish best practices and operational guidelines aligned with IT security standards

• Provide technical expertise in infrastructure, automation, and cloud-native technologies

Required Skills & Experience

Professional Background:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in one of the following roles:
  • System Reliability Engineer
  • System Support Engineer
  • DevOps Engineer
  • Cloud Engineer

Technical Expertise:

• Operating Systems: Linux and/or Windows Server
• Cloud Platforms: Azure, AWS, or GCP
• CI/CD & Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, GitLab, GitHub
• Scripting & Automation: Python, Bash, PowerShell

Security & Identity:

• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, including configuration management, encryption, and authentication
• Experience working with Entra ID (Azure Active Directory)

• This is a hybrid role based in Stockholm with a requirement of 3 days onsite per week
