Job summary

Epiroc in Örebro, Sweden, is seeking a System Engineer to develop and adapt our machine systems, focusing on performance, availability, and safety. You will work on hardware architecture, software interfaces, and modularization within cross-functional teams.

The role involves end-to-end development, trade-off studies, verification and validation, and close collaboration with service, purchasing and marketing.

Qualifications

University degree in a relevant area.
Professional experience in system engineering.
Experience with MBSE (Model-based Systems Engineering).
Familiar with Doors or Polarion or similar.
Hands-on with Matlab and Hopsan.
Strong understanding of software, CAN protocols (J1939, CANopen), CAD.
Fluent in English; Swedish understanding.

Responsibilities

Develop and adapt machine systems for performance, availability, and safety.
Lead concept development from ideation to specification with trade-off studies.
Verify and validate the technical solution across the end-to-end development loop.
Collaborate with service, purchasing, and marketing in Örebro and with global customers and suppliers.
Contribute to modularized solutions and process improvements.
