Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Swedish Language Expert to evaluate and improve AI-generated content for naturalness, accuracy, and cultural relevance. This is a remote, hourly-contract role with flexible scheduling.

You will review translations, flag issues, and provide detailed feedback asynchronously, helping AI speak Swedish to millions of real speakers.

Responsibilities

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No AI background needed — just a deep command of Swedish and a sharp eye for quality.

What You'll Do

• Review AI-generated Swedish translations and original content for accuracy and naturalness
• Identify mistranslations, unnatural phrasing, register mismatches, and cultural issues

Who You Are

• Native or near-native fluency in Swedish
• Strong written communication skills in Swedish
• Solid command of contemporary Swedish usage across different contexts and registers
• Naturally detail-oriented with a consistent, methodical approach
• Comfortable evaluating written language quality across a variety of topics
• No prior AI or tech experience required

Nice to Have

• Experience in translation, localization, editing, or linguistics
• Familiarity with AI tools or language evaluation workflows
• Knowledge of regional Swedish variations or dialectal differences
• Background in communications, education, journalism, or content review
