Qualifikationen

• Strong knowledge of supply chain optimization in forestry.
• Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks in wood sourcing and logistics.
• Proven leadership to drive cross-functional teams and continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with IKEA Strategic Landscape and sourcing practices is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Identify, assess, and manage relationships with forest management companies to ensure sustainability and quality.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize the wood supply chain, including sourcing, transportation, and inventory management.
• Implement sustainable forestry practices and certification standards (FSC) to ensure responsible sourcing.
• Coordinate timber harvesting planning, scheduling, and monitoring for sustainable forest management.
• Collect and analyze data on wood supply chain performance and report to stakeholders.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the wood supply chain to drive efficiency and sustainability.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, suppliers, industry associations, and NGOs to promote transparency and shared goals.
