Job summary

Stegra, a pioneering steel-tech company, seeks an experienced Group Financial Controller to drive high-quality financial reporting and IFRS/K3 compliance across the group. You will partner with business leaders to enable strategic decision-making and lead audits, while strengthening internal controls and tax governance.

The role involves coordinating cross‑functional teams, improving financial processes, and guiding ERP/BI enhancements to support sustainable growth in Sweden and beyond.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance and Accounting is required.
• Extensive multi-year experience in senior accounting or financial controlling, ideally international.
• Excellent IFRS and Swedish GAAP knowledge, plus Swedish tax legislation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Group reporting to ensure timely, accurate, compliant delivery.
• Manage and improve variance analysis in collaboration with finance colleagues.
• Act as SME on IFRS, Swedish GAAP (K3), and audit matters.
• Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with accounting manuals and tax law.
• Oversee inter-company charge-out models and allocation for transparency and compliance.
• Own annual reports and coordinate the audit process with stakeholders.
• Support productivity improvements, investment analysis and KPI tracking.
• Contribute expertise in corporate tax and transfer pricing.
• Collaborate on ERP and BI system improvements and financial reporting tools.
• Act as business partner to key stakeholders to help execute strategy.
