Job summary

TMC in Skövde is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer (Employeneur) to ensure suppliers deliver high-quality materials and components. You will drive root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and sustainable solutions, using methods like 8D, 6M, and fishbone analysis.

You will work cross-functionally, leading meetings with professionalism. The ideal candidate is a trained university or civil engineer with at least 5 years in quality.

Qualifications

• Trained university or civil engineer with relevant degree.
• Minimum of 5 years of quality work experience in manufacturing.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, written and spoken.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, PPAP, APQP, 8D and PFMEA.
• Experience in supplier development.

Responsibilities

• Drive supplier quality improvements and investigations to resolve issues.
• Lead cross-functional teams and meetings to ensure quality deliverables.
• Apply 8D, PFMEA and other quality tools to solve root causes.
• Support PPAP and APQP activities with suppliers.

In the role of Supplier Quality Engineer, you will ensure that suppliers deliver materials and components of the correct quality. When quality issues arise, you will be the one driving the analysis, following up on suppliers' corrective actions, and ensuring that the problems are resolved with sustainable solutions. In this role, you will work systematically with established quality methods such as 8D, 6M, and fishbone analysis. You will ensure that the supplier conducts a thorough investigation, takes corrective actions, and follows up to ensure these are effective in practice. To succeed, it is essential that you enjoy working cross-functionally, building relationships, and leading meetings in a clear and professional manner. As an SQE, you need to have an analytical approach, sound judgment, and the ability to critically assess suppliers' work to ensure quality requirements are met.What we expect from youWe are looking for someone who is a trained university or civil engineer and preferably has at least 5 years of experience in quality work.
