We are looking for someone who can combine strong quality and supplier development expertise with a genuine understanding of how a complex industrial organization operates. You have experience driving process improvements and implementing new ways of working, while balancing quality requirements with operational realities.
Through strong stakeholder management and change leadership, you create engagement, build alignment, and ensure sustainable improvements across both suppliers and internal functions.
The Supplier Development Engineer is responsible, in close collaboration with Category and Project Sourcing Managers, to ensure that the supplier base performance are in accordance with Epiroc's expectations.
Supplier Development Engineer is also responsible for driving the overall supplier development activities within the Strategic Sourcing organization.
The assignment includes:
Extensive experience in Supplier Development within Strategic Sourcing and the manufacturing industry. Project manager skillsand/or other leadership skills are preferred.
A university degree in engineering or corresponding experience and competence.
Trained/experienced auditor and Six Sigma or similar competence.
Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
You are well ‑ structured, curious and have a genuine interest in business and engineering, ideally combined with an interest in sourcing.
You bring an agile mindset, the ability to build long ‑ term, trusting relationships, and a natural sensitivity to communication needs between Epiroc, suppliers and key stakeholders.
This position is located in Örebro, Sweden. Occasional travel, both domestic and international.
