Job summary

Axel Johnson International is seeking a project manager to join the central Strategy & M&A team in Stockholm. You will drive strategic and operational initiatives across the group, work with senior leaders to develop business cases, and support selected M&A-related activities including due diligence and value creation post-acquisition.

The role focuses on growth, profitability, and operational performance, with travel to portfolio companies as needed.

Qualifications

Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, finance, or related field.
~2 years of experience in management consulting, strategy, business development or similar.
Fluent English written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Lead strategic and operational projects end-to-end across the group, business groups, and companies.
Analyze financial and operational performance data to identify improvement opportunities and translate insights into actions.
Structure complex business challenges and develop actionable recommendations to improve growth, profitability, and operational performance.
Facilitate workshops and collaborate with management teams to drive implementation and sustainable results.
Drive and scale high-impact initiatives across the group to accelerate value creation and long-term performance.
