Procure it Right (PIR) is seeking a management consultant specializing in cost optimization and strategic sourcing to join our team. You will support clients by reshaping sourcing strategies and redesigning procurement across categories to maximize value.

Qualifications

• 6–15 years in strategic sourcing and procurement across multiple categories.
• Experience from management consulting is a strong plus.
• Hands-on developing category and supplier strategies and end-to-end sourcing events (RFP/RFQ/RFX).
• Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving with a focus on cost optimization.
• Academic degree (e.g. in business, engineering, economics or similar).
• Proven track record of delivering cost reduction and procurement performance improvements.
• Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management; collaborative and hands-on approach.
• Fluency in Swedish and English.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with clients and suppliers, ensuring engagement, transparency and measurable impact
• Drive cost optimization projects by identifying savings opportunities, developing sourcing strategies, executing initiatives and ensuring value realization
• Understand clients' spend, sourcing needs and procurement challenges across categories to identify opportunities
• Develop category and procurement strategies that increase value for clients
• Translate business needs into sourcing strategies, ensuring strong cross-functional buy-in and driving decision-making
• Design and execute strategic sourcing initiatives and RFP/RFQ events from requirements definition to supplier selection and contracting
• Run high-impact negotiations with suppliers to secure commercial value, quality and risk mitigation
