Job summary

Procure It Right (PIR) is a management consultancy within Newground Alliance. As a consultant you will play an active role in problem solving, lead project streams for clients, and support issue identification through analysis and hypothesising for solutions.

You will collaborate with colleagues across the Nordics to develop procurement strategies that support client objectives, gain new skills, receive coaching from senior leaders, and contribute to PIR’s growth toward ambitious 2027 targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years’ experience in management consulting and industry.
• Experience at a well-recognised firm with a strong consulting toolkit.
• Broad experience in negotiations, supplier agreements and strategic sourcing in large, complex organisations.
• Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
• Master’s degree.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively in English and Swedish.

Responsibilities

Procure It Right (PIR) is an independent procurement consultancy with more than 25 years of experience. With extensive expertise in cost optimization, sourcing, and procurement transformation we help our clients do better business with their suppliers, with a firm belief that developing the right types of relationships is essential for effective allocation of tomorrow’s resources.

As a management consultant at PIR, you will play an active role in problem solving and leading project streams at our clients. You will support our clients in the identification of issues through analysis and leveraging experience, form hypotheses for solutions and synthesize conclusions into recommendations.

Collaborate with colleagues from a wide range of niche consultancies within Newground Alliance to deliver value at our clients and develop PIR.

Work with organisations across the Nordics to develop procurement strategies that support our client’s business objectives and give them a competitive edge.

What we are looking for

• A minimum of five years’ experience both in management consulting and industry.
• As a management consultant you should have worked at a well-recognised firm and possess an excellent consulting toolkit.
• Your industry experience will be within a large, complex organisation, where you will have a broad experience in negotiations, supplier agreements and strategic sourcing.
• Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
• Master’s degree.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English and Swedish.
