Job summary

EPAM Systems in Göteborg is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to bridge business strategy and technology. You will define target architectures and transformation roadmaps, guiding delivery teams and stakeholders to balance business value, cost, risk and maintainability.

The role spans technical selling and client-facing projects across accounts based on priority, with onsite collaboration in Göteborg.

Qualifications

• Ten years of IT experience with enterprise or solution architecture in complex organizations.
• Experience leading architecture for at least one transformation initiative spanning multiple systems or business functions.
• Experience in business capability mapping, process mapping and development of target architectures and transition roadmaps.
• Strong understanding of integration patterns, data architecture, cloud/hybrid environments, and non-functional requirements (security, resilience).
• Ability to apply enterprise architecture frameworks pragmatically and produce clear diagrams, standards and decision records.
• Excellent English communication and ability to facilitate workshops with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Translate business goals into capability assessments and architecture roadmaps.
• Assess current landscape and define target and transition architectures.
• Identify opportunities to simplify portfolios and reduce technical debt.
• Guide architecture decisions across initiatives and maintain governance and reference patterns.
• Collaborate with delivery teams from discovery to implementation and resolve cross-system dependencies.
• Address security, privacy, and regulatory requirements with specialists.
• Support client proposals with feasible options, vendor assessments and business cases.
• Assess AI opportunities and data readiness in collaboration with AI specialists.
