Job summary

Alstom is looking for a full-time Project V&V Manager in Stockholm. In this role, you will use your technical expertise to ensure smooth implementation of systems through effective verification processes.

Your responsibilities will include developing verification plans, checking documentation adequacy, and managing testing activities. The ideal candidate will have a degree in engineering, excellent English skills, and experience in railway signalling systems.

Qualifications

• Degree or passion in engineering.
• Experience or understanding of software requirements, data and code.
• Railway signalling systems experience.
• Knowledge of various verification approaches/methodologies.
• Able to identify the most suitable method or combination of methods in a given context.
• Familiarity with deriving the types of verification from specifications.
• Understanding of CENELEC standard EN 50128.
• Analytical thinking ability and good observation skills.
• Very good English skills; Swedish is an advantage.
• Experience in coordinating multiple verification teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop the project Verification Plan.
• Check the adequacy of documented evidence against verification objectives.
• Identify anomalies and evaluate their impact risk.
• Manage the verification process and ensure independence of activities.
• Develop and maintain records on verification activities.
• Develop the project Verification Report.
• Sync between test and development teams.
• Monitor test activities and define new needs.
• Communicate and analyze gaps in testing.
• Define entry/exit criteria for test activities.
