Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Fluency in Swedish (spoken and written) is mandatory.
• 6+ years of experience in statistical programming within register-based research.
• Advanced SAS/R programming skills.
• Experience with Swedish National Health Registries and data concepts.
• Proven ability to manage teams and deliver complex programming work.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Statistical Programming staff, including hiring, training, and supervising.
• Develop, implement, and improve standard procedures and training programs.
• Organise resources for multi-project work and deadlines.
• Lead programming activities for complex studies and create TLFs and datasets.
• Develop, test, and document SAS/R programs to study requirements.
• Integrate data from Swedish registries and other sources.
• Prepare SAPs for Swedish data and align with local standards.
• Support data applications and Swedish documentation submissions.
• Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance across projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet milestones.
