Job summary

Cint is a pioneer in research technology, delivering a programmatic marketplace with a global network. As a Staff Software Engineer in the Supply domain, you will define patterns for legacy displacement, set a technical direction, and mentor engineers while driving modernization from Go toward a Java/Kotlin/Spring stack.

You will bridge tech stacks, collaborate with product teams, and ensure observability and performance across a backend-heavy platform with distributed teams worldwide.

Qualifications

• Significant backend engineering experience (typically 10+ years) in production systems.
• Strong architectural and design skills with a track record of leading modernization efforts.
• Proficiency across backend languages with willingness to move between stacks.

Responsibilities

• Define patterns and standards for legacy displacement and monolith modernization.
• Own architectural vision for the domain and guide cross-team implementation.
• Mentor senior and mid-level engineers to raise code quality and depth.
• Build services and help migrate platforms to Spring while coordinating with other codebases.
• Collaborate with product managers to shape requirements and roadmaps.
