Job summary

Tieto in Sweden is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to take technical ownership of our Equity post-trade platform, driving architecture, modernization, and robust solutions in a complex domain.

You will design, build, and deploy features from design to production using C#, .NET, REST APIs and microservices, while modernizing legacy systems and ensuring performance and scalability across a distributed setup. This role offers a hybrid work model in Sweden and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience in backend systems.
• Hands-on with C#, .NET, and SQL.
• Experience with modern API and microservices design.
• Proven ability to modernize legacy systems and refactor monoliths.
• Strong ownership and accountability.
• Experience with Azure and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end features from design to production.
• Build and implement solutions using C#, .NET, REST APIs and microservices.
• Drive modernization of legacy, database-heavy systems into modular architectures.
• Contribute to architecture decisions with an engineering mindset.
• Define and execute technical solutions aligned with product needs.
• Write clean, production-grade code focused on performance and scalability.
• Collaborate across distributed locations.
