Job summary

A renewable energy company in Sweden is seeking an HSE Officer to maintain world-class safety standards. You will conduct quality control, manage incident reporting, and lead safety drills, alongside a strong focus on safety education and compliance with local laws. Qualifications

Job description
LOOKING FOR HSE OFFICERS

It is enough for us that you have worked in a similar position previously and know English well enough to communicate freely. Your engagement and commitment will be most important to us, so you will benefit from the training that you will be provided!

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct quality control and ensure a world-class safety culture
  • Responsible for incident reporting, investigation, and implementation of corrective actions
  • Performing site induction for all site personnel
  • Preparing and leading HSE Day before the site starts
  • Performing Safety Drills
  • Testing of the subcontractor's English skills, Work knowledge, HSE knowledge
  • Preparing HSE, fire precaution, and First Aid equipment (including AED equipment)
  • Performing Daily HSE checks on site, also inside turbines
  • Daily HSE talks at toolbox meetings and Weekly HSE meetings with customers and subcontractors
  • Ensuring that customers requirements and local law HSE Requirements are fulfilled
  • Reviewing/approving Method statements and Risk assessments
  • Assisting with site audits
  • Reporting Accidents to authorities
  • Liaising with the HSE and authorities
  • Interpreting local HSE technical documentation and legislation
  • Investigate safe and effective construction methods with company, local legislative statutory HSE requirements
  • Resolve recommended solutions to overcome operational HSE hazards
  • Reliable and polite approach to all involved parties at all times

  • GWO
  • NEBOSH certificate
  • Knowledge of ISO 45001:2018 and holder of an Internal/Lead Auditor Certificate
  • Knowledge of the wind industry
  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering)
