Job summary

KUBO in Sweden is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join our consulting team supporting a Swedish municipality. You will design architectures and lead end-to-end delivery across data, analytics, cloud platforms, and digital development.

The role covers needs analysis, architecture roadmaps, implementation guidance, governance, and knowledge transfer. You will work on Microsoft Fabric, Azure Landing Zones, Power Platform, Dynamics 365, and Microsoft 365.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience as a Solution Architect or equivalent architecture role focused on Microsoft-based solutions.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing solutions using Power Platform and/or Dynamics 365.
• Proven experience leading needs analyses, requirements workshops and stakeholder discussions.
• Good understanding of Microsoft Azure, cloud architecture and enterprise integration patterns.
• Professional proficiency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join a consulting team supporting a Swedish municipality in strengthening its capabilities across data, analytics, cloud platforms and digital development.

The assignment covers the setup, development and ongoing management of Microsoft Fabric, Azure - including Landing Zones - Power BI, Microsoft 365 and AI solutions, including Power Platform. Microsoft Fabric brings together data movement, data engineering, data science, real-time analytics and BI, while Azure Landing Zones provide a governed and secure foundation for scaling Azure workloads.

You will work closely with business and IT stakeholders, helping translate organisational needs into practical, secure and scalable technical solutions. The engagement covers the full journey: needs analysis, requirements workshops, target architecture and roadmap development, implementation, documentation, governance and knowledge transfer. The project will start in October. You will work in Tyresö.

Key responsibilities

• Design target architectures and solution designs for Microsoft-based business, data and digital workplace solutions.
• Lead needs analysis and requirements discussions with business users, IT teams and key stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into clear technical requirements, solution options and implementation roadmaps.
• Support the implementation and development of solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, Azure and Microsoft Fabric.

• Work with data engineering, BI, data modelling, integrations, AI, information security, data governance and cost management.
• Contribute to Azure Landing Zone design and management, including the guardrails needed for secure and scalable workloads.
• Support digital workplace initiatives, change management and the adoption of new tools and ways of working.
• Produce clear architecture documentation, technical decision records and guidance for development and operational teams.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary consulting team that includes specialists in Azure, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, AI, product ownership, testing and quality assurance.
• Support knowledge transfer to the municipality’s internal business and IT teams.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Solution Architect or in an equivalent architecture role focused on Microsoft-based business solutions.
• Hands‑on experience designing and implementing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and/or Dynamics 365.
• Proven experience leading needs analyses, requirements workshops and stakeholder discussions.
• Ability to translate business requirements into clear, practical and scalable technical solutions.
• Experience establishing governance models, governance frameworks or operating models for Power Platform or comparable enterprise platforms.
• Experience advising organisations on target architectures, digitalisation initiatives or modern business‑platform strategy.
• Good understanding of Microsoft Azure, cloud architecture and enterprise integration patterns.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, data platforms, analytics or related data‑management concepts is highly desirable.
• Understanding of governance, information security, compliance and cost management in cloud‑based environments.
• Strong communication, facilitation and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively with both business and IT stakeholders.
• Professional proficiency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken. Swedish is mandatory because the end client is a Swedish municipality and the role involves close collaboration, requirements work and documentation in a public‑sector setting.

• Work model: On‑site initially; hybrid work may be possible later.
