IKEA seeks an experienced iOS Engineer to join our Malmö-based App team, building native iOS experiences in Swift for IKEA’s app used by millions. The role emphasizes AI-assisted design and rigorous quality practices.
You’ll work in an agile, cross-functional environment with design, product, QA, and data teammates to turn ideas into production features, while sharing knowledge and exploring new technologies.
"You care about making a positive impact in the world. You understand greatness requires thinking differently. An inclusive and accepting work environment is important to you."
A job at IKEA is so much more than home furnishings. Together, we work to make a better everyday life for the many. It's the perfect fit if you want to contribute, grow, and share. Join the team and start a better life for yourself.
As an iOS Engineer, you'll work alongside an international team of talented colleagues across engineering, design, product, QA, and data. You have hands-on experience developing native iOS applications, using mobile development best practices and design patterns. As a guideline, we’re looking for around 1–8 years of experience, but your skills, mindset and potential matter more than the number of years. You have a degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
You're passionate about learning and staying ahead of industry trends. Whether it's a new technology, framework, or way of working, you're eager to explore, adapt, and apply new ideas to help us build better products and foster a culture of engineering excellence.
At IKEA, we're creating digital experiences that make everyday life a little better for the many around the world. As part of the IKEA App team, you'll help shape the mobile shopping app used by millions of customers every week, whether they're planning a room makeover from the comfort of home or navigating one of our stores.
We're a team that cares deeply about our customers and uses feedback, data, and experimentation to continuously learn and improve. We believe the best ideas come from collaboration, curiosity, and a willingness to challenge ourselves to do things better.
