Job summary

A leading technology firm in Stockholm is seeking a Software Engineer to develop and maintain core platform features for their cloud technology. You’ll build high-quality code and work with AI-driven tools while managing AWS operations. The ideal candidate has over 3 years of backend development experience, skills in Docker and AWS, and fluency in both Swedish and English. Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience building and maintaining production back-end services.
• Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL/TimescaleDB.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar).
• Experience designing and operating systems on AWS.
• Experience with containerization tools such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Experience building microservices in Go.
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English.

Overview

We are looking for a Software engineer - Core platform to join our tech team at KanEL. You’ll work on the core systems that power our main product - developing, operating, and scaling our cloud platform end to end.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain core platform features across the full stack.
• Develop and maintain high-quality code using modern frameworks and AI-driven tooling.
• Deploy, operate, and scale our AWS-based platform, ensuring reliability and performance.
• Use AI tools daily for coding, debugging, and automation.
