Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Mechatronics, Control Systems, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Process Engineering, or related discipline.
• Solid foundation in control engineering or thermodynamic processes.
• Experience in model-based development (Matlab/Simulink) or embedded C/C++ development.
• Familiarity with MIL/SIL/HIL testing concepts.
• English proficiency (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Develop control and regulation functions for heat pumps to advance energy efficiency.
• Guide software throughout lifecycle from requirements to verification across MIL/SIL/HIL levels.
• Design and optimize model-based software in Matlab/Simulink for closed-loop control.
• Apply modern software development practices and embedded programming (C/C++).
• Test application software on heat pump benches for rapid prototyping and validation.
• Collaborate in an international agile environment with software, electronics, HMI, hydraulics, and thermodynamics teams.
