Bosch Thermoteknik AB in Tranås is seeking a Software Developer to own desktop tools and diagnostics utilities used by lab engineers during heat pump testing. You will develop and maintain applications including SWDL field tools and data-logging utilities, while collaborating with firmware and hardware teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/SE/EE or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong proficiency in desktop software development using C# and .NET.
• Experience with hardware interfacing software, CAN bus, and diagnostic/ flashing procedures (UDS/bootloaders).
• English proficiency required; Swedish language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain modern Windows desktop applications using C# and .NET.
• Develop data logging, monitoring, and diagnostic utilities for lab engineers.
• Maintain software download and firmware flashing routines for devices.
• Implement interfaces connecting desktop software with embedded controllers and test equipment (serial/CAN).
• Collaborate with firmware, hardware, and lab testers to align requirements and releases.
• Improve UI/UX and automate data visualization for reliable diagnostics.
