About the assignment

As a Simulation Engineer, you will:

• Develop and maintain Open-Loop SIL Simulation Framework tools and related services.
• Take a leading role in software design, architecture, and development practices within the team.
• Review the current architecture and contribute to creating a more efficient microservices-based solution.
• Ensure that simulation jobs (from CI and developers) run smoothly and efficiently on a high-performance cluster.
• You will be part of an agile team where collaboration, problem-solving, and continuous improvement are key.

Requirements

• MSc or equivalent degree in Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a similar field.
• 3–7 years of relevant software development experience.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide other developers in design and architecture.
• Solid experience with Python.
• Experience with DevOps tools, Git, and Gerrit.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts.
• Good experience with Linux and Bash scripting.
• Experience working with high-performance clusters (HPC).
• Understanding of Agile methodologies, especially Scrum.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

Meritorious

• Experience from the automotive industry.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Jenkins.
