emagine is seeking an experienced Service Manager – IFS to own services, products, and systems within the assigned scope in Stockholm. You will drive service management, operations, and supplier governance, ensuring SLAs are met and continuous improvements pursued.

The role requires strong ITIL knowledge, hands-on IT operations experience, stakeholder management, and supplier coordination. Fluent Swedish and English are essential, with familiarity of IFS Cloud and EAM advantageous.

Job description

Our client within the construction industry is seeking an experienced Service Manager – IFS to take ownership of services, products, and systems within the assigned scope. The consultant will ensure that business requirements are met and that agreed service levels are delivered effectively while driving continuous improvements across service management, operations, and supplier governance.
The role requires a proactive and independent professional with strong experience in service management, IT operations, stakeholder management, and supplier coordination. Experience with IFS Cloud and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) environments is considered highly beneficial.
Start Date: 15 October 2026
End Date: 14 April 2027
Location: Stockholm, with a minimum of 2 days per week onsite
Workload: 50–100% (by agreement)

About The Role

Lifecycle Management

• Ensure service documentation is maintained, updated, and aligned with operational requirements.
• Manage lifecycle activities for hardware, software, licenses, warranties, and configuration items (CIs).
• Secure accurate CI relationships within the CMDB.
• Identify opportunities for service, system, and business process improvements, including increased automation.
• Contribute to forecasting, budgeting, and financial follow-up activities.

Service Delivery & Operations

• Ensure efficient management of incident, problem, and service request processes according to established service levels and procedures.
• Coordinate and support operational teams to maintain stable and efficient daily operations.
• Manage deployments, releases, updates, and patches to test and production environments through structured change management practices.
• Continuously improve service quality and operational processes.

Service Development

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into structured IT demands and business cases.
• Participate in service development initiatives and projects.
• Ensure service design and development principles are followed throughout delivery.
• Oversee transition activities and handovers from project/development phases into production.
• Stay informed about industry trends and developments relevant to the service portfolio.

Stakeholder & Service Consumer Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders and service consumers.
• Facilitate operational service governance forums and performance reviews.
• Communicate service performance and improvement initiatives.
• Ensure user documentation, knowledge articles, and self-service capabilities are established and maintained.

Supplier Management

• Manage IT suppliers throughout the contract lifecycle to maximize value, minimize risk, and support continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with governance models, contractual frameworks, and supplier management guidelines.
• Take responsibility for contractual, financial, and performance management of suppliers within scope.

Required Competencies

Professional Experience

• 4–6 years of experience working as a Service Manager.
• Proven ability to take ownership, lead, and drive assignments independently.
• Experience managing complex IT services and operational environments.
