Arrowhead Game Studios in Stockholm is seeking a Senior UI Designer (Contractor) to lead and implement high‑quality UI systems for our co‑op titles. You will own end‑to‑end UI design from wireframes to final assets, collaborating with designers, artists and engineers in a live‑service environment.

You bring senior‑level experience with game UI, proficient in Noesis GUI and industry standard tools, and you thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative studio with a strong culture.

Qualifications

• Senior level experience in a similar role within the games industry.
• Proven experience designing and implementing high-quality UI end-to-end.
• Strong understanding of UX principles and best practices in game UI design.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum environments and design reviews.
• Mentoring and knowledge-sharing in a team setting.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead the design of complex, high-impact UI systems for HUD, inventory, planning interfaces, or social menus.
• Drive the UI design workflow from wireframing to art assets and implementation.
• Collaborate with UI/game designers, artists, and engineers for cohesive UI solutions.
• Ensure UI systems align with the live-service game creative vision.
• Optimize UI assets for performance and accessibility and user experience.
• Participate in design meetings and influence decisions, mentoring peers.
