Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Tacton CPQ Modeler/Developer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements for product configuration needs.
- Design and build complex product configuration models in Tacton CPQ to meet business and customer requirements.
- Configure pricing rules, discount structures, and quote generation processes within the Tacton platform.
- Continuously optimize and improve existing configuration models for efficiency and scalability.
- Develop solutions that support and enable front-line sales teams to sell more effectively, reliably, and efficiently.
- Coordinate and manage the collection of information for implementation projects from various business stakeholders.
- Participate as a crucial member of a cross-functional development team including IT programmers, Tacton modelers, engineering, sales, management, and external consultants.
- Execute projects in an agile manner, gathering information, clarifications, and feedback from sales, R&D, and finance teams throughout solution development.
- Test and validate product configurations to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends related to CPQ and Tacton modeling.
- Provide technical expertise and support to sales teams in using Tacton CPQ for quoting and proposal generation.

- Minimum 5 years of working experience with Tacton CPQ platform development or equivalent experience in other companies.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Preferred: Certifications in Tacton CPQ or similar configuration tools.
- Ability to set up and maintain Tacton configuration models independently.
- Expertise in CRM and ERP systems and their integration with CPQ solutions.
- Deep knowledge of object type hierarchies and advanced concepts in TCStudio.
- Expertise in modeling attributes, features, constraints, and implementing complex logic using Tacton Constraint Language (TCL).
- Optional: Programming skills in VBA, JavaScript, or R to implement new features in cost price visualization for sales managers.
- Optional: Experience in designing, maintaining, and improving Jira dashboards and boards.
