Job summary

Nordic Investin is partnering with a collaborator to hire a Senior Systems Programmer who will shape a high performance data processing layer near the OS. You will own substantial components, assess tradeoffs and produce maintainable, production-ready code.

You will work in short cycles with product and operations, review designs early, and communicate risk clearly. The role combines deep technical work with ownership and mentoring of colleagues.

Qualifications

• Expert in Rust and C/C++ with focus on performance.
• Strong background in systems programming and OS concepts.
• Experience profiling and optimizing low-level code.
• Ability to reason about concurrency and memory safety.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Develop performance critical components in Rust and C++.
• Profile CPU, memory, IO to remove bottlenecks.
• Design safe boundaries across language and process borders.
• Improve concurrency and scheduling mechanisms.
• Build benchmarks and regression tests for critical paths.
• Review designs and support production investigations.
