Job summary

DXC Luxoft in Sweden seeks a Senior Functional Safety expert to join our Automotive practice, contributing to the development of safe, connected vehicle systems for global manufacturers. You will participate in safety concept definitions, safety management, and systematic safety work.

The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration with suppliers, and hands-on ISO 26262 activities including FMEA, FTA, HARA, and safety case development, in an international, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• AFSP qualification from SGS-TÜV Saar or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years as moderator for H&R, FMEA, FTA per ISO26262
• Senior System Safety competence (ISO 26262 Part 3/4, HARA)
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Experience with suppliers and international environments
• Experience with Team Center
• Experience with Car/System Weaver
• Team players with pragmatic approach
• Strong ability to advise and support the organization

Responsibilities

• Functional Safety implementation of electronic vehicle functions per the Safety process at System and Software level
• Lead and perform system safety work products e.g., TSC, Safety Case, HARA

• Lead and perform Safety Analysis like FMEA, FTA, DFA

You will be part of our growing organization in Sweden and will be part of developing next generation systems for the Automotive industry in the era of connected, autonomous, electric vehicles.

Responsibilities:

• Functional Safety implementation of electronic vehicle functions as per the Safety process at System and Software level, which includes Safety Concept definition and Safety Management activities.
• Lead and perform system safety work products e.g., TSC, Safety Case, HARA.
• Lead and perform software related work products, safety requirements, safety architecture, etc.
• Lead and perform Safety Analysis like FMEA, FTA, DFA.
• Perform verification and confirmation reviews.
• Support in implementation of Safety process in the project.

Mandatory Skills Description:

• Qualification as AFSP (Automotive Functional Safety Professional) from SGS-TÜV Saar or a comparable qualification from an accredited provider.
• At least 3 years of continuous practical experience as a moderator for the implementation of H&Rs, FMEA, FTA according to ISO26262.
• Senior System Safety competence (ISO 26262 - Part 3, Part 4, HARA).
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge and experience from working with suppliers and working in an international environment.
• Experience with Team Center.
• Experience with Car/System Weaver.

Nice-to-Have Skills Description:
