Job summary

Scania IAM is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to shape identity and access management in a large-scale environment. You will lead alignment across a system-of-systems landscape and guide teams toward scalable, secure IAM solutions.

In this role, you will own reference architecture, drive Zero Trust initiatives, and collaborate with architects, tech leads, and cross-functional teams in a SAFe context. Impact spans strategy and hands-on delivery in a global setting.

Qualifications

• Experience from solution and system architecture in large-scale, distributed environments.
• Familiarity with SAFe or similar scaled agile methods.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks and standards ISO, NIST, and OWASP.
• Clear communicator able to engage technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience within IAM and identity-centric security concepts, including Zero Trust.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the IAM reference architecture and capability model
• Translate security standards such as ISO, NIST, and OWASP into practical architectural guidelines
• Drive the development of Zero Trust and identity-centric security

• Promote reuse, standardization, and shared capabilities
• Balance security, compliance, and business needs
• Collaborate with enterprise-, security-, platform-, and product teams, as well as risk and compliance.

Role Summary

Do you want to help shape the future of Identity and Access Management (IAM) in a complex, large-scale environment? We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect who can drive alignment across a system-of-systems landscape and guide teams towards shared, scalable, and secure solutions.

You are an experienced solution architect who enjoys working in complex environments and creating results together with others. We also believe you bring the following:

• Experience from solution and system architecture within large-scale, distributed environments
• Familiarity with SAFe or similar scaled agile ways of working
• Good understanding of security frameworks and standards such as ISO, NIST, and OWASP
• Strong ability to facilitate discussion, build alignment, and support technical decision-making
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with a pragmatic delivery
• Clear communicator, with ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders
• Experience within IAM and identity-centric security concepts, including Zero Trust principles
