Scania IAM is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to shape identity and access management in a large-scale environment. You will lead alignment across a system-of-systems landscape and guide teams toward scalable, secure IAM solutions.
In this role, you will own reference architecture, drive Zero Trust initiatives, and collaborate with architects, tech leads, and cross-functional teams in a SAFe context. Impact spans strategy and hands-on delivery in a global setting.
Scania is undergoing a transformation from being a leading supplier of trucks, buses, and engines to providing complete and sustainable transport solutions. Together with TRATON and our sister brands MAN, Volkswagen Truck & Bus, and International, we are working to shape the future of mobility with innovative and environmentally conscious solutions. Our values – customer first, respect, team spirit, responsibility, and elimination of waste – are at the heart of everything we do. Together, we are at the forefront of creating a sustainable future.
Do you want to help shape the future of Identity and Access Management (IAM) in a complex, large-scale environment? We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect who can drive alignment across a system-of-systems landscape and guide teams towards shared, scalable, and secure solutions.
At Scania, IAM is a dedicated strategic capability with its own long-term vision and ownership. This gives you the opportunity to influence direction, challenge existing solutions, and work with modern IAM and Zero Trust architecture at scale.
You will work closely with architects, tech leads and cross-functional teams in a SAFe context, connecting strategy with execution and enabling teams to deliver effectively. If you enjoy leading through collaboration, clarity, and direction this could be the right role for you.
You are an experienced solution architect who enjoys working in complex environments and creating results together with others. We also believe you bring the following:
At Scania, IAM is a dedicated strategic capability — not a side responsibility within another area. You will have the opportunity to influence both strategy and implementation in a global environment with modern technologies and large-scale impact.
You will collaborate and work closely with experienced colleagues across architecture, security, and platform teams with focus on long-term, sustainable architecture.
IAM governance, part of the IAM organisation at Scania IT, focuses on providing oversight, coordinating strategic direction, and developing policies to ensure that IAM aligns with business objectives, security goals and regulatory requirements across Scania and TRATON Group.
We are a team of highly skilled colleagues who value collaboration, knowledge sharing and supporting each other in solving complex challenges together.
We offer a dynamic and engaging workplace where collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement are part of everyday life. You will be part of a strong team environment that encourages knowledge sharing and close cooperation across functions.
With a structured development plan and a wide range of training opportunities, Scania supports your professional growth both locally and internationally.
Logical and personality tests may be used as part of the selection process, and a background check may be required for this role.
We welcome all applicants and strive for diversity in our recruitment processes.
Application deadline: no later than 2026-08-31.
