Job summary

Polestar is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to join our Gothenburg headquarters. You will lead architecture across Car Services and Industrial Operations, guiding multiple teams to deliver scalable, secure digital solutions that align with enterprise architecture and business needs.

You will collaborate with product and engineering leadership to standardize practices, reduce complexity, and enable long‑term growth across global operations.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in solution architecture.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, CI/CD, and modern system architecture.
• Experience working with integrations, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Experience delivering solutions across organizational and business boundaries.
• Strong understanding of security, performance, and availability.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture across several teams within Car Services and Industrial Operations.
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture principles and standards.
• Support technology strategy, cloud architecture, and DevOps practices.
• Design solutions that are scalable, cost‑efficient, and global by design.
• Resolve cross‑team technical challenges and remove impediments.
• Aligning product roadmaps with target architecture together with leadership.
• Embed security, compliance, and risk considerations in solutions.
• Drive standardization and reduce fragmentation across teams.
• Manage and reduce technical debt at area level.
• Define reusable patterns, APIs, and integration approaches.
• Coordinate integrations and dependencies across systems and teams.
• Contribute to the broader architecture community.
