Job summary

Sambla Group in Stockholm is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with Backend & AWS focus to join a close-knit dev team. You will design and develop backend services powering new products and internal tools, leveraging Node.js, TypeScript, React, Next.js and AWS.

You'll participate in product discovery, collaborate with frontend, design and business colleagues to deliver end-to-end value, write clean scalable code with ownership, and help define patterns as we grow, enabling scalable services for

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend or fullstack experience with frequent product shipping.
• Strong understanding of modern software engineering principles and architectures.
• Experience with Node.js, React, TypeScript/JavaScript, Next.js, and AWS (CDK and CloudFormation).
• Experience designing and building APIs, services and scalable systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Experience working with databases, testing and CI/CD.
• Experience employing AI on daily work and create reusable workflows.

Right now we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with Backend & AWS focus, who want to be part of this journey, who care about impact, not just output. With a product mindset, you will help shape the next phase of our growth.
As a Senior Software Engineer at Sambla Group you will work together with a close-knit team of developers on all levels. Everyday work as a developer here revolves around developing our product & internal systems, managing our infrastructure and launching exciting experiments. Our stack is Javascript-focused with Node.js for backend, with our services running on AWS. Having superb skills in our entire stack is not a requirement, but the will to learn is!

This position is based at our headquarters on Tulegatan in Stockholm.

In this role, you will:

• Design and develop backend services powering our new products and ventures.

What we expect from you:

• 5+ years of backend or fullstack experience with frequent product shipping.

• Strong understanding of modern software engineering principles and architectures.

• Experience with or curiosity for our stack: Node.js, React, TypeScript/JavaScript, Next.js, and AWS (including CDK and CloudFormation).

• Experience designing and building APIs, services and scalable systems.

• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.

• Experience working with databases, testing and CI/CD.

• Experience in employing AI on daily work and create reusable workflows.

• A collaborative mindset and the ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical colleagues.

• Bonus: App-first products, React Native or Cloud-based AI workloads.

• Above all: a product mindset, you want to understand why we build things and you see impact as important as delivery.
