Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join an automotive software team. You will develop, integrate, test and troubleshoot software for Vehicle Control Units (VCUs) and Zone Controllers, focusing on C/C++, AUTOSAR and Android Automotive.

You will collaborate with engineering teams, analyze issues, and contribute to quality software across vehicle platforms. Strong English skills are required; Swedish is a merit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering and a minimum 5 years of work experience in the field.
• Experience with Android Automotive / AAOS.
• Knowledge of AOSP and VHAL/HAL.
• Proficient in English; Swedish is a merit.

Responsibilities

Your role

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join an automotive software development team. The role involves development, integration, testing and troubleshooting of software for Vehicle Control Units (VCUs), Zone Controllers and Android Automotive systems.

You will work mainly with C/C++, AUTOSAR and Android Automotive, while collaborating with developers, testers and other engineering teams. A key part of the role is investigating technical issues and finding solutions across different parts of the vehicle software.

In this role you will play a key role in

• Software development in C and C++
• AUTOSAR and power mode-related functionality
• Software for VCUs and Zone Controllers
• Code quality and static analysis, including Polyspace

Your profile

• Strong experience in C/C++
• The applicant should at least possess a bachelor’s degree in software engineering and minimum 5 years of work life experience in the field.
• Experience with Android Automotive / AAOS
• Knowledge of AOSP and VHAL/HAL
• Experience with Java & python
• Professional working proficiency in English. Swedish is a merit.
