Zusammenfassung

Westinghouse Electric Company places a Category Manager Services in Västerås, Sweden. You will lead a complex category to improve cost, quality, delivery, and reliability, and report to the Senior Manager EOMS Contingent Labor and Services Category Management with a hybrid work model.

You will drive supplier relationships, implement category strategies, and prepare key analyses and presentations for reviews and risk mitigation.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of procurement experience with complex engineering, procurement, and construction projects.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Benchmarking, market, competitive intelligence, and procurement project management skills.
• Experience with supplier management including purchase order issuance, execution, and administration.
• Focus on daily improvement in standard work, talent development, and risk mitigation.
• Maintain long‑term productive relationship with suppliers.
• ERP system or similar system experience in a global environment is beneficial (SAP & Ariba).
• Very good English skills, additional language preferable.

Aufgaben

• Lead a category management plan for an assigned category in Services or close related.
• Maintain an overall category strategy to meet organizational goals by improving Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) while securing supply continuity through identifying and mitigating current and potential risks and opportunities in the category plan.
• Implement category strategy through a preferred supplier list (PSL). This list also involves right‑sizing non‑preferred suppliers. Additionally, it rewards preferred partners with business awards tied to Long‑term Agreements (LTA) with year‑over‑year improvements in cost, delivery, quality, service, and profitability.
• Lead important business reviews (SRM) with strategic suppliers to bring category strategy and completion of category goals.
• Prepare presentations for supplier relationship management meetings, category plans, risk mitigation proposals, 4‑Blockers, and supplier/category gap analysis.
