Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Control Systems Engineer in Västerås, Sweden. The role focuses on design and upgrade of control systems within a hybrid work model, reporting to the Director of Advanced Operations and Controls Engineering.

You will work on feasibility studies, construction, risk analyses, documentation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and training across multiple projects with a global team.

Qualifications

• Higher technical education with electrical, engineering physics, computer or energy specialization.
• Work experience in industrial automation projects, especially in process industries.
• 3+ years of experience with industrial control systems (ABB AC160, ABB 800xA, Siemens PCS 7, ABB AC400/AMPL).
• Education in control engineering or practical experience with control systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and upgrade control equipment in existing systems.
• Analyze existing control systems and adapt technical solutions.
• Develop conceptual solutions, requirements, and investigations.
• Participate in all project phases from feasibility through testing and commissioning.
