Job summary

Energize Group in Sweden is seeking an experienced robotics engineer to support development, integration and testing of advanced robotic systems for a major automotive client. This hands-on role combines software development, computer vision and hardware integration in a lab environment.

You will focus on Python, C++, and Java in a Linux environment, integrating cameras, LiDAR and sensors, and performing software and system tests. The position is 100% onsite at the client’s facility in Sweden.

Qualifications

• Hands-on robotics hardware integration experience.
• Strong programming in Python/C++/Java in Linux environments.
• Experience with computer vision and depth sensing is a plus.
• Understanding of coordinate systems, kinematics, sensors and control.

Responsibilities

• Develop software in Python, C++, and Java within a Linux environment.
• Develop and integrate computer vision solutions (object/person detection, image processing, depth sensing).
• Integrate cameras, LiDAR, sensors and motion-control components.
• Develop and execute software and system tests; troubleshoot hardware/software/communication issues.
• Contribute to safety assessments, verification and validation; coordinate priorities for milestones.
