Job summary

GlobalLogic in Gothenburg is seeking a Senior Project Leader within SW Release to own and drive software releases across vehicle programs. You will coach colleagues, lead release governance, and strengthen our ways of working in a high‑performing team.

You will coordinate end-to-end releases, collaborate with Engineering and stakeholders, and mentor other Release Leaders to foster continuous improvement and robust delivery capabilities.

Qualifications

• MSc in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Extensive experience from large-scale software development and delivery organizations.
• Proven experience leading complex projects, transformations, or organizational change initiatives.
• Experience within software release management, software integration, or software program leadership.
• Strong coaching, mentoring, and leadership capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent in English.
• Swedish driving licence

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate software releases through the complete release process.
• Drive planning, prioritization, issue resolution, and release readiness activities.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders across Engineering to ensure successful deliveries.
• Act as a senior Release Leader and role model within the team.
• Coach and mentor other Release Leaders, sharing knowledge, best practices, and lessons learned.
• Drive improvements to ways of working, release governance, and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Lead selected improvement and transformation initiatives within the Release Leader community.
• Contribute to building a strong Release Leader culture focused on leadership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Help strengthen the team’s overall capability and prepare the Release Leader function for future challenges.
