Job summary

An international engineering, consulting, and project delivery organisation in Sweden seeks a Quality Fabrication (Supply Chain Quality) Lead to oversee QA/QC of all materials and equipment for a major industrial project.

The role ensures compliance with contractual and CE marking requirements, technical specs, inspection plans, and industry standards, coordinating with suppliers, inspectors, logistics, and procurement to guarantee release before shipment to site.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in fabrication quality management, EPC/EPCM/PMC experience.
• Strong background in structural steel, piping, mechanical packages, or related fabrication.
• Knowledge of QMS, inspection methods, welding/NDT, coatings and material traceability.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain fabrication quality procedures.
• Review suppliers' ITPs, welding/NDT, coating plans and docs.
• Coordinate inspections, FATs, dimensional checks, and certificates.
• Lead fabrication quality team and third-party inspectors.
• Prepare quality reports and participate in project meetings.
