Job summary

Beijer Electronics is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join the R&D IX product team. You will share responsibility for day-to-day QA work and the strategic perspective on quality, advocating for test strategies and best practices to ensure product excellence.

You will communicate as the voice of the user on quality, collaborating with multiple teams to implement test automation, performance and reliability improvements, and a strong emphasis on end-user experience.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in testing software and/or automation systems.
• Hands-on experience of risk-based testing.
• Practical experience in test automation.
• Understanding the importance of non-functional requirements (performance, stability, etc).
• Great skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Possibility to work on-site from the Malmö office at least three days per week.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day QA activities and contribute to long-term quality strategy.
• Be the voice of the user in terms of quality and advocate for product quality improvements.
• Collaborate with R&D teams across software, hardware and mechanics to ensure high-quality releases.

The opportunity

We are looking for a skilled Senior QA Engineer to join our R&D organization and the IX product team. The team is responsible for the IX Developer, a development environment which is used by our customers to create applications with great UX, allowing end-users to control any industry process.

As a Senior QA engineer, you share the responsibility, both for the day-to-day QA work and the strategic perspective of how we work with quality long-term. If you have an interest in QA best practices like test automation and test strategies, this role will give you the opportunity to put theory into practice.
