Job description

We are seeking an experienced SAP PM/EAM Consultant to join a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation programme within the energy sector. The person in this role will support migration from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA and the modernisation of Enterprise Asset Management processes, acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable, best-practice solutions throughout the project lifecycle.

Model: Remote (Poland) + 1–2 days per month on‑site in Stockholm, Sweden (business travel)

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, super users, and project teams across the SAP S/4HANA transformation.
• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements for maintenance and asset management processes.
• Perform fit‑gap analysis and recommend solutions aligned with SAP S/4HANA capabilities and industry best practices.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams on solution design.
• Configure SAP PM/EAM functionalities to support defined business processes and project objectives.
• Support blueprinting, design workshops, testing activities, user training, and go‑live preparation and support.
• Ensure integration between SAP PM and other SAP modules, particularly MM and related logistics processes.
• Contribute to project documentation, process design, and solution governance.
• Facilitate clear communication among business stakeholders, functional consultants, developers, and testing teams.
• Support issue resolution and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience with SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) / Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).
• Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation and migration programmes.
• Strong understanding of SAP PM processes, maintenance operations, and asset management best practices.
• Hands‑on experience configuring SAP PM modules and delivering business‑critical implementations.
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori applications and user experience considerations within S/4HANA.
• Demonstrated experience in gathering requirements and producing functional specifications, blueprints, and process documentation.
• Experience conducting fit‑gap analysis and recommending S/4HANA‑aligned solutions.
• Solid understanding of SAP integrations, particularly between PM and MM.
• Effective communicator with the ability to liaise between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Experience across project phases including blueprinting, testing, training, cutover, and go‑live.
• Desirable: prior experience with SAP ECC to S/4HANA migrations, basic ABAP for troubleshooting, Microsoft Azure DevOps in SAP delivery, Agile/Scrum delivery, and experience within utilities, energy, or asset‑intensive industries.
• Participation in a strategic, high‑visibility transformation within the energy sector.
