Job summary

Markem-Imaje in Gothenburg, Sweden, seeks a Senior Product Owner to lead a mature Agile firmware engineering team building our next-generation printers and shaping the product vision.

You will own the backlog, collaborate with stakeholders across Marketing, Reliability, Technical Service and System Engineering, and ensure timely delivery of data-driven features through well-defined stories and disciplined sprint ceremonies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Significant experience with Agile methodologies for Product Owner role.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
• Proactive, self-starter with project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• High degree of organization, initiative and accountability.
• Proven track record delivering data-driven solutions with a customer-first mindset.
• Experience launching software/services with engineering teams and prototyping/iterative development.
• Ability for international travel (20%).

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts focused on development of product capabilities.
• Provide data-driven estimates and metrics.
• Manage product backlog to align vision, goals and priorities.
• Ensure the team has prepared stories to work on.
• Lead requirements-gathering with cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate with other Product Owners for aligned value delivery.
• Develop story details and support sizing and decomposition.
• Drive backlog refinement and participate in sprint planning and reviews.
• Minimize sprint variability to enable delivery.
• Ensure completed stories meet the definition of done.
• Prepare and present sprint accomplishments and data to management.
