Job summary

Alfa Laval in Stockholm seeks aSenior Product Manager for High-Speed Separators (HSS). You’ll own the product platform strategy, drive innovation with R&D, and ensure offerings meet customer needs across portfolios.

You will lead lifecycle management, coordinate with Marketing, Capital Sales, Service, Engineering, and Quality, and translate market demand into a clear development roadmap. English fluency required; Stockholm residency preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in product design, product management, product lifecycle management, or technical sales.
• Ability to act as the link between R&D, Manufacturing, Procurement and Quality.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to understand customer, technical and commercial requirements.
• In-depth knowledge of separation technology and the functionality of separation systems.

Responsibilities

• Understand and translate customer needs and market demand into suitable product offerings.
• Defining product requirements for R&D, Engineering and Supply functions. Own the Market Demand Specification and collaborate with the Portfolio Managers on its creation.
• Create and maintain a product development roadmap that clearly shows priorities for the next 3-18 months.
• Monitor product and take actions to secure competitiveness throughout the product lifecycle.
• Analyze economies of scale across product lines and platforms.
• Drive product assortment strategy to support order intake, gross margin, and quality targets.
• Analyzing and approving product cost and cost structure
• Manage obsolescence and termination of products when they no longer meet customer requirements or product platform strategy.
• Create and maintain a clear phase-in and phase-out roadmaps.
• Work closely with Marketing to launch and follow up on new products and product updates.

Education
