Job summary

Spotify AB is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy and evolution of Encore, Spotify’s design system. You will define the vision and roadmap for the design infrastructure that powers product development across the company, working at the intersection of design, engineering, accessibility, and AI.

This senior IC role requires strategic thinking and the ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives through influence.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Product Management experience, with a track record building platform, infrastructure, or design systems products.
• Strategic, cross-functional leadership with ability to influence without authority.
• AI tools as part of product practice for research, analysis, synthesis, prototyping, and decision support.
• Strong analytics, defining product metrics and data-informed prioritization.
• Deep understanding of design systems, accessibility, design tokens, semantic components, and modern tooling.
• Clear communication with engineers, designers, executives and cross-functional partners.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments with curiosity and execution focus.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the long-term strategy and roadmap for Encore's design system components and tokens.
• Partner with engineering, design, accessibility, and platform teams to evolve the system and improve quality.
• Lead prioritization across initiatives and communicate trade-offs to stakeholders.
• Champion AI throughout the product lifecycle to accelerate decision-making and productivity.
• Shape AI-enabled design tooling strategy and adoption across users and teams.
• Establish meaningful metrics for platform adoption, design quality, accessibility, and developer experience.
• Translate strategy into executable plans that align cross-functional teams.
• Build trusted partnerships to drive Encore adoption and continuous improvement across Spotify.
