Job summary

KPIT is seeking an experienced PLM consultant to act as a trusted advisor for hardware and product development stakeholders. You will translate business requirements into actionable use cases and solution specifications, supporting Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE deployments.

You will facilitate workshops, align business needs with technical solutions, and drive testing, validation, and adoption of PLM capabilities across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of PLM processes within hardware, product, or mechanical engineering development environments.
• Experience translating business requirements into use cases, solution requirements, and functional specifications.
• Experience facilitating workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and stakeholder alignment activities.

Responsibilities

• Act as a PLM solution expert and trusted advisor for business stakeholders within hardware and product development.
• Gather, analyze, and refine business requirements, translating them into functional use cases and solution specifications.
• Support the design, configuration, and implementation of PLM solutions on the Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
• Facilitate workshops, requirement sessions, and stakeholder discussions to align business needs with technical solutions.
• Validate proposed solutions to ensure they meet business objectives and PLM process requirements.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute testing activities, including solution validation, user acceptance testing, and defect management.
• Collaborate closely with business users, developers, architects, and IT teams throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Drive continuous improvement of PLM processes, tools, and ways of working.
• Support change management activities and promote adoption of new PLM capabilities.
• Coach and support team members and end users in utilizing 3DEXPERIENCE effectively.
