Job summary

RPS Softwares AB in Sweden seeks a Senior Platform Engineer / Tooling Developer to design, build, and operate cloud-native platforms with AWS and Kubernetes. You will implement GitOps workflows and IaC (Terraform) to ensure scalable, reliable, and secure environments.

The role emphasizes tooling, automation, self-service, and AI-assisted workflows to boost developer productivity. The ideal candidate has 6+ years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or SRE, with strong Kubernetes and AWS experience

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles.
• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native architecture.
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes (designing, deploying, and operating production environments).
• Strong experience with GitOps practices and tools.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar).
• Experience developing automation scripts and platform tools.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, observability, reliability, and cloud operations.
• Demonstrated interest and experience in AI-assisted engineering workflows (must be stated in CV).

Responsibilities

• Platform & Infrastructure: Design, build, and operate cloud-native platforms on AWS and Kubernetes.
• Tooling & Automation: Develop internal platform tooling, automation, and self-service capabilities, while maintaining CI/CD pipelines and observability across cloud operations.
• Collaboration & Productivity: Partner with development teams to deliver platform solutions and drive initiatives that enhance developer productivity through AI-assisted engineering workflows.
