Job summary

EQT Group is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join our engineering platform team in Stockholm. This hands-on role focuses on building reliable platforms, driving adoption, and improving developer experience across the organization.

You will lead platform initiatives, collaborate with teams on standards, operate the platform, and contribute to on-call rotations to ensure reliability and security. This role requires deep Kubernetes and cloud experience within a scalable, high-trust

Qualifications

• Experience as a senior Platform, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineer.
• Proven experience leading platform projects from concept through to production.
• Hands-on experience running Kubernetes production environments.
• Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with infrastructure as code, preferably Terraform.
• Familiarity with GitOps and CI/CD workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, architecture, and rollout of platform projects from start to finish.
• Collaborate with engineers across the organization to align on platform standards and best practices.
• Operate and continuously improve the engineering platform.
• Contribute to on-call rotations and support platform reliability.
• Improve platform reliability, security, and developer experience.
• Support incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
