Job summary

Volvo Group's VEdge team drives edge computing and digital delivery for Volvo's manufacturing sites worldwide. You will work on .NET backend services, modern cloud deployments, container-based hosting, and CI/CD, collaborating with global stakeholders to enable connected, automated shop-floor processes.

The team operates across Köping, Skövde, Gothenburg and New River Valley, delivering edge solutions that link machines and systems with Volvo’s production software.

Qualifications

• Advanced experience building backend services with NET 8/9.
• -Experience with container-based hosting using Docker or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud and CI/CD pipelines.
• -Solid understanding of API design and integration patterns.
• -Knowledge of MQTT or Kafka is a bonus.
• -Strong written and spoken English skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services using .NET 8/9 and modern frontend tech as needed.
• Collaborate with business and factory stakeholders to support software services across global manufacturing.
