Job summary

SEB in Stockholm and Vilnius is seeking a .NET Developer for Payments & Reporting to help build SEB’s next‑generation payment platform on a modern microservices stack. You will develop backend services in .NET/C#, work with SQL Server, Kafka, and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) in a hybrid setup with three on‑site days and remote collaboration across Nordic‑Baltic teams.

Qualifications

• Strong experience developing and maintaining backend services using .NET/C#, with a solid understanding of microservice architectures and distributed systems.
• Extensive SQL Server experience and comfortable working with large, complex databases.
• Hands-on experience with asynchronous messaging using Kafka/IBM MQ and containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift).
• Experience contributing to or owning CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation; curiosity for AI and emerging tech; English fluency, Swedish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SEB's backend services in a microservices landscape using .NET/C#.
• Collaborate across Stockholm, Vilnius and other teams to deliver scalable payment solutions.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation; troubleshoot complex systems.
