H&M Hennes & Mauritz Gbc AB is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Price Adjustments product. You will design, build, and maintain secure, scalable .NET/C# backend systems that enable pricing and adjustment capabilities across the business.

You will own API design, system performance, and observability, collaborating with Product, DevOps, and Platform teams. The role emphasizes secure coding, Azure cloud security, and mentoring fellow engineers in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with .NET Framework and C# in enterprise backends.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, cloud architecture, and security best practices.
• Strong knowledge of Entity Framework, T-SQL, and SQL Server; performance tuning.
• Experience designing APIs, distributed systems, and scalable architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions or similar tools.
• Experience with debugging, observability, and production incident management.
• Secure coding and application security practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, secure backend systems using .NET/C#.
• Drive API design and system-level decisions for maintainability and performance.
• Lead key technical initiatives from idea to production.
• Apply clean code and engineering best practices in daily delivery.
• Improve performance across application, database, and infrastructure layers.
• Strengthen observability through logging, monitoring, tracing, and alerting.
• Support secure development practices and Azure security standards.
• Collaborate with DevOps, platform, product, and other teams to improve CI/CD.
• Mentor and support other engineers to strengthen engineering culture.
