Job summary

Huawei Sweden R&D is seeking an Expert in Medium Voltage Power Conversion Systems to lead R&D activities focused on next-generation MV architectures for high power Solar PV, BESS, Data Center, and EV charging applications. The ideal candidate will have a PhD or Master's degree in power electronics and over 10 years of experience in high power electronics. Responsibilities include mentoring engineers and collaborating with external R&D institutes. Fluency in English is required, and travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• More than 10 years of experience in Medium Voltage, high power electronics.
• Proven experience in product design or prototype development in an industrial context.
• Good knowledge of MV standards and practical insulation coordination experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute R&D of next generation MV architectures.
• Take ownership of design, verification, and validation of MV converter concepts.
• Mentor cross-discipline R&D Engineers.
