Job summary

RPS Softwares AB in Sweden is seeking a Mobile Application Test Engineer to join our team. You will design, execute, and maintain functional, regression, and automated tests for Android and iOS apps within CI/CD pipelines.

You will collaborate with test leads, developers, and product owners to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle in an international environment. A Bachelor's or Master’s in CS is required.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in testing mobile applications.
Documented experience with test automation for Android and/or iOS.
Solid understanding of software testing throughout the entire development lifecycle.
Experience working in agile development teams.
Experience working with CI/CD-based test automation.
Experience with Appium or similar tools for mobile application test automation is meritorious.
Programming skills in Python are meritorious, and experience with Kotlin, Java or other object-oriented programming languages is also an advantage.
Experience with Azure DevOps, GitLab or other CI/CD platforms is meritorious.
Experience testing connected products, IoT or embedded systems is meritorious.
Experience testing with physical hardware is meritorious.
Experience with communication via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or other wireless communication protocols is meritorious.

Responsibilities

Design, execute, and maintain functional, regression, and automated test cases for iOS and Android mobile applications within CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze test results, document issues, and drive continuous testing process improvements.
